PETA India captivated attendees with a unique stall offering our newly launched alien abduction virtual reality experience. This immersive activity foregrounds the suffering that animals are subjected to when used for experiments and leaves visitors with a lasting impression that encourages them to make compassionate choices.

PETA India founder Ingrid Newkirk’s powerful talk highlighting the importance of activism received enthusiastic applause.

PETA India Chief Corporate Liaison Ashima Kukreja contributed to our impactful presence at the event by participating in a panel discussion drawing attention to the plight of animals used for cosmetics testing. She shed light on the abuse they are subjected to, discussed non-animal testing methods, and explained why the PETA US Global Beauty Without Bunnies programme is the ultimate resource for conscientious shoppers looking for cruelty-free cosmetics.

The fun continued as actors Jacqueline Fernandez, Arvind Krishna, and Amy Aela visited our stall. They tried out our alien abduction virtual reality experience and browsed through For a Moment of Taste and Survival at Stake authored by PETA India director Poorva Joshipura.

The future of the vegan movement in India looks exceptionally bright. Awareness of the lifestyle is increasing, and the community is growing. The vegan space is set to expand, offering more opportunities for innovation and change.
