Huge News! Avon Products, Inc, Is ‘Working for Regulatory Change’

Update: Things keep getting better! After working closely with PETA US for nearly two years to end tests on animals and demonstrating significant contributions to global efforts to stop them, Avon Products, Inc, has officially been added to the PETA US “Working for Regulatory Change“ list.

Things keep getting BETTER! After working with PETA for nearly two years, Avon Products Inc. has officially been added to PETA’s “Working for Regulatory Change” list ? Avon Products Inc. is no longer testing on animals anywhere in the world and is working to ensure none of its suppliers test on animals either. When the process is complete, the company will be moved to our cruelty-free list. The company is no longer testing on animals anywhere in the world and is putting systems in place to ensure that none of its suppliers test on animals, either. When that process is complete, Avon Products will be moved to PETA US‘ global cruelty-free list.

Huge progress! Avon Products, Inc., has stopped all regulatory-required tests on animals everywhere in the world, including in China. This is the first crucial step to becoming cruelty-free.

Now the company is working with its suppliers to make sure that no ingredients are tested on animals.

“Avon will focus on working with suppliers on their animal testing policies for ingredients used in Avon’s products. Meanwhile Avon will continue to work with its partners to push for regulatory change and greater acceptance of alternatives to animal testing,” the company said.

We have been delighted to work with the company throughout this process and have appreciated its thoughtful approach to ensuring that any of its products sold in China will never be tested on animals. We look forward to continuing this work.
