Tell Us About Your Rescued Animal Companion for Friendship Day
Being a true friend means always looking out for your dog or cat pals.
Friendship Day (5 August) is coming up, and if you’ve rescued a dog or cat from the street or an animal shelter, you know a thing or two about real friendship. Why not use the day to share your story? Here’s how. On or before Friendship Day, do the following:
1. Share the story of your rescued dog or cat on social media.
2. Upload a photo of your rescued animal companion.
3. Tag PETA India in your post on Twitter and Instagram with hashtag #AdoptDontShop or #FriendshipDay.
Here is an example:
Soya was rescued after some kids had tied firecrackers to his tail during Diwali. He was treated but he lost his tail, and now he just has love to give back to humans. I found a furever friend! @PetaIndia #AdoptDontShop #FriendshipDay pic.twitter.com/GRCPORBgCt
