PETA’s ExtraVEGANza a Hit at The Indian Luxury Expo
The two day Indian Luxury Expo is a two-day high-class affair that took place last weekend at the Cyber Hub in Gurugram.
Guests were excited to meet PETA’s “cow” mascot.
And they loved showing off their “Go Leather-Free” badges.
The wide variety of cruelty-free fabrics and accessories – including vegan fur, leather, and “snake skin” – available from brands such as Alcantara, Winner Nippon Electronics Ltd, Studio Leatherette, Textile Express and The Throw Company proves that designers have all the technology and resources they need to create cutting-edge designs without hurting and killing animals.
Stunning vegan handbags are also widely available, such as those made by Tamarind, Ecowings, The Alternate, Merci and Baggit. You’ll find faux-fur jackets – which are ideal with winter just around the corner – for sale at trend-setting retailers such as ASOS. And stylish vegan leather shoes for women from Veruschka and some hip footwear and wallets from Ethik, Senso Vegetarian Shoes and Aurum Co are always a big hit.
