This isn’t the first time Adams has spoken about his love for vegan foods. In an interview for PETA US, the singer talks about why he chooses to be vegan. He has also bolstered a campaign by PETA entities against Canada’s annual seal slaughter and provided crucial support for PETA US’ ultimately successful campaign to win landmark animal welfare reforms for chickens used by KFC restaurants in Canada. Adams has also lent his considerable skills as a photographer to shoot an ad starring actor Sadie Frost for a campaign against fur for PETA UK and had invited PETA India representatives to hold information stalls at his concerts during his last India tour.
